Paul Holder came to Oklahoma City from Sulphur in 1941, delaying his dream of owning a business to learn the machine shop trade and raise a family.  Paul worked hard to master his profession.  He also learned that service, workmanship and loyalty are fundamental to success.
For some 30 years, Paul served a firm founded by the foreman at his first job, gaining respect as an exemplary craftsman and a pioneer in hard facing. Through the decades of the 70's, 80's and 90's his HOLDALLOY coatings set the industry standard for excellence.




With the help of his wife, son and daughters, Paul founded TP Machine & Tool Co., Inc. in 1974.  Built on traditional values, the company soon gained a reputation for integrity and quality.  In 1988, Paul became a consultant, transfering the firm's presidency to his son Tom Holder. Tom continued the Holder heritage of excellence thru 2007.  Now, with the 3rd generation at the helm, the tradition and dream continues as TP Machine & Tool begins a new generation of achievement.  Tompaul Holder, grandson and son to Paul and Tom, along with grandaughter Tiffany Bishop, and Paul's daughter Judy Porter the tradition continues.
